Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers provide an instant result that will significantly reduce or even completely smooth out wrinkles, whilst maintaining a natural look.
Dermal fillers can also be used to add volume to cheeks and other areas of the face which have deflated over time due to gravity, ageing or dieting. The Dermal Fillers used are a synthetic form of Hyaluronic acid. This is found naturally in our bodies, but decreases in our skin as we age.
Dermal Fillers
Tiny amounts of the clear natural Hyaluronic acid gels are placed under the skin using a very fine needle. This plumps out lines, folds and wrinkles - leaving skin which is firmer and smoother. The gels contain a local anaesthetic to help minimize discomfort.

Dermal fillers can be used in most areas of the face and some areas of the body. Injections are administered using a small needle, a cannula or both. Dermal fillers are most commonly made with Hyaluronic acid (HA). This is a naturally occurring substance, which is a major component of our skin and has a function in wound repair, hydration, and cell to cell communication. One of the main characteristics of hyaluronic acid is that it effectively binds water like a sponge, which is why it is an effective tissue filler.

Commonly treated areas include:
-
Oral commissures (corners of the mouth), Jowls
-
Nasolabial folds (nose to mouthlines), Upper and lower cheek
-
Marionette lines (below the mouth corners), Chin
-
Tear trough (hollow beneath the eyes), Jaw line
-
Smoker’s lines (above and below the lip), Temples
-
Nose reshaping
Lip Augmentation - As we age, our lips lose their plumpness and begin to look thinner. Lip augmentation and enhancement is a very effective medical procedure for lifting and re-defining the contours of the lips and for providing fullness and volume. Adding a small amount of Dermal filler to your lips can help restore a more youthful proportion to them, leaving you appearing years younger and feeling more confident, without it being obvious that you have had anything done. Most people are after a subtle and natural look; however, more dramatic results can be achieved if desired.

Tear Trough - The tear trough is a groove that lies between the lower eyelid at the inner corner of the eye and the upper cheek. A tear trough deformity (or hollow orbital rim) refers to the deepening of this groove which often occurs as a normal result of ageing due to changes in the bone, fat and skin. Small amounts of a non-viscous HA can offer fantastic correctional results.
